Zenith celebrates 160 years of horological excellence with the G.F.J. Calibre 135 40.1865.0135/51.M0135, a contemporary tribute to the Maison’s rich chronometric heritage. Inspired by the legendary Calibre 135-O, the G.F.J. brings this legacy into the present, combining historical design with modern technical refinement.
Crafted in platinum, the 39mm case features a stepped bezel, sculpted lugs, and alternating polished and brushed finishes. The deep blue dial presents a sophisticated three-part construction: a guilloché outer ring inspired by the Manufacture’s iconic brick façade, faceted white gold hour markers, a central section of natural blue lapis lazuli flecked with golden pyrite, and a mother-of-pearl small seconds subdial at 6 o'clock.
At its heart beats the reimagined Calibre 135, faithful in architecture to the original but enhanced with modern innovations. An oversized balance wheel, a double arrow-shaped regulator, and an upgraded 72-hour power reserve ensure exceptional performance. COSC-certified for precision to within +/-2 seconds per day, the movement is richly decorated with satin, polished, and guilloché finishes visible through the sapphire case back.
Exclusive to this reference, the G.F.J. is paired with a seven-row platinum bracelet, featuring center links subtly embossed with the Manufacture’s historic brick motif—adding both visual depth and symbolic connection to Zenith’s roots. This harmonious blend of craftsmanship, heritage, and innovation places the G.F.J. among Zenith’s most refined creations.
