To mark 160 years of watchmaking excellence, Zenith introduces the G.F.J. Calibre 135 40.1865.0135/51.C200—a tribute to the Maison’s enduring quest for precision and innovation. Inspired by the award-winning Calibre 135-O, the most celebrated observatory chronometer movement in Zenith’s history, the G.F.J. brings this legacy into the 21st century.
Housed in a refined 39mm platinum case with stepped bezel and sculpted lugs, the G.F.J. showcases a rich blue dial with a three-part construction. A guilloché brick-patterned outer ring, faceted white gold hour markers, and a central disc of deep blue Lapis Lazuli—each flecked with natural gold-colored pyrite—evoke Zenith’s celestial identity. A mother-of-pearl small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock adds further depth and refinement.
At the heart of the G.F.J. is the re-engineered Calibre 135, retaining the original’s architecture while integrating modern advances. Equipped with an oversized balance wheel, a double arrow-shaped regulator, and a 72-hour power reserve, the COSC-certified movement is regulated to an exceptional precision of +/-2 seconds per day. Fine details such as the brick-pattern guilloché bridges, black-polished crown wheel, and satin-finished barrel echo Zenith’s historic Manufacture architecture and spirit.
The Zenith G.F.J. Calibre 135 40.1865.0135/51.C200 is delivered with three strap options—dark blue alligator leather, black calfskin, and blue Saffiano calfskin—and is available upon request with a seven-row platinum bracelet embossed with the signature brick pattern. A timeless masterpiece, the G.F.J. embodies Zenith’s enduring pursuit of perfection.
