TAOS is an independent Swiss watch brand based in Geneva, dedicated to métiers d’art: the decorative crafts of watchmaking. Founded in 2024 by Olivier and Dominique Vaucher with watchmaker Olivier Gaud, it draws on the expertise of Atelier Olivier Vaucher, established in 1978. Each TAOS watch is a unique piece, with artistic expression guiding its design and execution.
Grand feu enamelling, hand engraving, miniature painting, stone marquetry and gem-setting form part of the atelier’s repertoire. Several techniques often come together on a single dial: sculpted mother-of-pearl forms delicate petals, while silver paillons beneath layers of enamel evoke woven fabric. Close collaboration between artisans gives these compositions their depth, colour and texture.

The same care extends to the mechanical movements, where hand decoration complements the dial. TAOS gives the atelier the freedom to explore new combinations of materials and techniques, creating watches that express the breadth of its expertise.
