After graduating from the prestigious Parisian design school Ecole Boulle with a degree in interior design, Emmanuel Dietrich designed watches, jewelry, furniture and various other items for prestigious names such as Louis Vuitton, Hermès and Cartier. After 20 years of doing so he decided to dedicate his creativity and experience towards his own brand of watches: Dietrich 1969. Through fluid lines and organic shapes, Dietrich has managed to create a collection of so-called Organic Time Companions that are thoroughly futuristic in appearance. The dial is made up of four different layers, creating an interesting 3d effect to the face of the watch. The leaf-like hands reflect the inspiration Dietrich found in nature. The unique design of the case makes for a very comfortable wear despite being substantial in size. The movement is automatic and displays the hours, minutes seconds and an additional 24-hour indication.
