Rooted in the utilitarian tradition of early aviator timepieces, the Raketa Pilot embraces function-first design with a distinctively Russian character. Inspired by the pioneering pilot watches of the early 20th century, this model reflects a clear “nothing superfluous” philosophy: bold, legible, and built for purpose.
The 42mm stainless steel case combines polished and satin finishes, giving the watch a dynamic profile while maintaining its tool-watch essence. Angular, faceted lugs add a rugged elegance, and the solid screw-down crown ensures water resistance up to 200 meters. Visibility is paramount: the matte black dial resembles an aircraft instrument panel, with large white numerals and hands coated in Super-LumiNova. A vibrant yellow seconds hand and double-sided anti-reflective sapphire crystal complete the highly legible display.
Inside ticks Raketa’s in-house automatic calibre 2615, developed and manufactured entirely at the Raketa Watch Factory in Saint Petersburg. Operating at a traditional 18,000 vibrations per hour (2.5 Hz), it features bi-directional winding, 24 jewels, and a power reserve of 40 hours. The movement is decorated with Raketa’s signature Neva wave finishing and visible through a sapphire case back.
Reference W-14-16-30-0301 is delivered with both a stainless steel bracelet and a genuine leather strap—offering versatility straight out of the box.
With its aviation-inspired clarity, robust construction, and fully Russian manufacture, the Raketa Pilot is a serious instrument for those who appreciate mechanical honesty and timeless design.
