The MING 37.09 Uni brings a bold splash of character to the brand’s growing family of dive watches. Inspired by its namesake — the sea urchin, or uni in Japanese — this model pairs a black DLC-coated case with vivid orange highlights, echoing the contrast between the creature’s spiny shell and its vibrant interior.
The 38mm stainless steel case is pressure-balanced and water resistant to 600 meters. A domed sapphire crystal with double-sided anti-reflective coating protects the dial, while the display caseback offers a view of the skeletonised Sellita for MING SW300.M1 calibre. In typical MING fashion, the inner rotating sapphire timing dial is operated via a secondary crown at 4 o’clock and can be used underwater.
New hour markers and the first-ever orange-emission Super-LumiNova for MING mark a fresh chapter in the series, adding playful detail without compromising legibility. The 37.09 Uni is worn on a new moulded FKM rubber strap, secured by a tuck buckle with micro-adjustment.
