Introduced in 2020, the Longines Spirit collection builds on the brand's rich history in airborne timekeeping. It is however not a retro watch. Rather, the Longines Spirit is a modern take on the traditional pilot's watch. With the Spirit, Longines links history with innovation, taking traditional features and combining them with contemporary lines and codes for a decisively modern and exacting look.
At introduction, the Longines Spirit was made available with either a blue, silver or black dial. Now the brand offers a new green option, which is paired with beige SuperLuminova for a vintage touch. The metallic sheen is the result of a beadblasted finish. Blue, silver, black or green - the dials are marvelously finished and highly detailed. Just take a look at the close-up picture below!
For now, the green dial Longines Spirit is only available in the three-hander format, with a case of either 40 or 42mm. Power comes from Caliber L888.4 irregardless of the size. This self-winding movement has a power reserve of almost three days, features a silicon balance spring, and is a COSC-certified chronometer. It is available with a stainless steel bracelet or a beige calf leather strap.
