Zenith introduces the Chronomaster Sport, a new take on the classic El Primero chronograph. With the Chronomaster Sport, Zenith blends hints of important chronograph watches of days gone by with clear-cut lines and up-to-date materials, resulting in a watch that feels timeless yet firmly modern. Power comes from the self-winding caliber El Primero 3600. One of the unique features of this movement is its central seconds hand for the chronograph, which rotates once every 10 seconds - a feature first seen in the Striking Tenth and later in the 50th anniversary model and El Primero 2.
The Zenith Chronomaster Sport is available in either stainless steel or rose gold, with a diameter of 41mm. Regardless of the case material it is fitted with an engraved ceramic bezel calibrated for 10 seconds in 1/10th increments. The dial (silver or black for stainless steel, silver-only for rose gold) has Zenith's signature three-colored sub dials. A sapphire crystal is found both on the front as well as the back, the latter allowing for a prime view of the El Primero 3600 movement. Full technical details further down below.
