Zenith introduces another smashing revival piece in the form of the Chronomaster Revival El Primero A385. Its source of inspiration, the A385 of 1969, was part of the first three stainless steel El Primero-powered watches, alongside the A384 and A386. Furthermore Zenith says the A385 of 1969 was the first watch ever to feature a gradient dial.
In terms of looks, the new Chronomaster Revival A385 is again a faitful reproduction of the original. It features the signature hexagonal case and a brown gradient dial. Sapphire crystals both front and back are a modern touch, though the graceful dome of the former does bring to mind the plexiglass found on its vintage counterpart. The Zenith Chronomaster Revival A385 comes on either a brown calfskin strap, or the magnificent 'Ladder' bracelet.
