Zenith updates its Elite Classic and Elite Moonphase models for 2020.
The Elite, Zenith's best-mannered line of watches, has undergone a revamp for 2020. Various tweaks confidently guide this collection into the 2020's, without loosing any of the svelte mid-century elegance that it is known for. Here, there's no revolution to be found. Rather the Elite's timeless looks have been rejuvenated, setting the tone for Zenith's vision of contemporary elegance for the new decade. The soft curves of earlier iterations have made way for a sharper aesthetic. Tapered and faceted hour markers are placed on a dial with a bold, three-dimensional sunburst pattern radiating from its center, whilst time is indicated by a set of razor-sharp dauphine-style hands. The result? A sleek take on classical codes of watchmaking, with an amount of visual depth that far exceeds its square footage.
For now, the collection exists in eight versions divided over two case sizes (36.5 or 40mm), two movements (time + date in the 670, or small seconds + moonphase in the 692) and two case materials (either stainless steel or 5N rose gold). We have uploaded all eight of them in our 2020 section of watches on the website. A selection;
