BaselWorld 2014 is kicking off in five days, but for Omega the party has already started... The Swiss masterminds have been teasing us with hints of a new dive watch on their Facebook and Instagram accounts for about a week now..
This teasing business is working its magic on us: we're getting pretty excited! The watch seems to be a modern version of the iconic CK2913 Seamaster 300 - a clean, no-nonsense dive watch.
The picture above suggests a vintage-style 'straight-lug' case, perhaps similar to the one found on the 'First Omega in Space'. The supposed lack of a helium escape valve enhances the vintage look.
The Ceragold bezel inlay should be interesting, especially since we're expecting the watch to be presented in stainless steel.
Master Co-Axial? Perhaps it's a hint towards a no-date version of the 15'000 Gauss a-magnetic movement! The matte black dial looks great - a true tribute to the CK2913.
And yes - a bracelet with micro-adjustment!
More info coming soon.. stay tuned!
